Dresses.

This yearI am all about dresses. Couldn’t help it but Thailand does have the best fitting (best-fit-me-dresses) dresses for me. ;p Not too long; not too short length my “kaki pendek” (short legs).

FIRST DAY OF CNY – THE POLKA DOT RED.

Maid.

Think the last maid we had was a year ago. She got fitnah of working a uncle’s kopitiam. Well, she wasn’t. She was taking care of my sister and just so nice she was making milo for my sis. /hmmm~ Oh wells..

Mom actually kena fined quite sum of money. Went to Juru to visit her. She teared in joy when she saw us. The tahanan place looked very much like a prison! It was freaky. But women & men are separated. So that wasn’t so bad (cos the men ‘prisoners’ looked damn hamsap & some looked very much like rapist!) Difference is, we could bought teh tarek hot for her & some food from the cafeteria because that was the last time I will ever meet her in Malaysia. She will be shipped back (Wahlao. sounds like Kargo pulak) to Indonesia.

Her name was Mus.

*

This time, (since Indo maids weren’t allowed cos of too many stupid abusers ‘majikan’ & some abusive workers towards babies) we hired a Philipino maid. Her name is Rosalind. Wow. I tweeted the other day, that Jack didn’t die, but actually gave Rose five beautiful children. Hmmn. (Joke lah. Dowan laugh, *Suak!*)

She’s just here less than a week. We thought she could actually understand English well, since she’s from Philipines. Well, it took me 2minutes to know that she doesn’t speak English. What is your full name?

Maid: “Yes ma’am.”

Me: “What is your full name?”

Maid: “Yes ma’am.”

Ok. I no say more liao oK?

((-____________-))

*

Anyways, for this 4days, she has been doing & adapting.. well, not ‘not bad’. But umm, more like “OK laa. So so.” Cos she still don’t know how to use the microwave. Told her to press this, she go and press that. Ask her to press that, she go and press this. Ok. Nemind. (Stoppit’ liao oK?) Ok. I stop now.

*

I had maid taking care of us (me + sis), since I was like 8-9years old. But never had my mother let her iron my school uniforms nor wash our under garments. (Malu kot nak orang lain basuh benda camtu?) We always, (well, not sis. Me. Wash own things. now, wash sis’ too.) Also, we once had a mad who followed us since I just entering my junior high school till I graduated high school. Now got married already with a daughter. Called her up when I was in Indonesia. Wished to see her and her kid one day visiting Indon again. Her name was Jumaati. Dad always kacau her: ” Jom Mati! ” & she can’t close her upper teeth, cos its very like out! (alamak donno how to explain). Dad says: “Jum! Tolong kupas kulit oren!” “Jum! Nah. Tolong gigit tembikai nih!”

LOL.

She will be pissed and said: ” Bapak makan la! ” (She’d even got her ‘la’ at the back.and she used it well, too.) There was even once she went out to pasar with the bike & police almost caught her, but she talked to the police like “Jap. Hang tunggu jap. Saya balik rumah amik IC k? Saya tinggal belah blakang tu je.”

Ok. Think she did quite well there huh, didn’t she.

Evennn once. She asked me to teach her to ride my dad’s “Honda Cup” (old bike it means), and so I did. Like a mat rempit, she rempit dad’s bike into the small longkang (drain). And it was on clutch. Together, we pulled the bike up. Bike was too old for dad to see the side scratch. *Shhhh~* Dad doesn’t know.

She’d even learnt to ride my Karisma scooter. Hmmn. Oh wells, lots of great memories created. More private stuff, I share with her, no tell tell. *heh!*

*

OH-K! No more essays! That’s about it. This is a pic my new philipine maid took. Like a normal human being with no absolute idea of a touch screen phone, she pressed the only one button at the bottom of the phone. (and so i smiled like an idiot. heck yes i did.) But second time touch, she did it. ;)

2

Great day ahead! =)

P/s: Be nice to your maids. They are too, human; just like you!

xoxo,

Ruby.

Her Trip

…to Genting Highland.

I have to admit, having felt being self-centered, most of the times we bring our darling sister to vacations in the city, sis is sometimes seems being ‘dragged’ along since we can’t leave her anywhere when we go shopping. When she doesn’t have the mood to go shopping, she’d show her grumpy face and said she want to go back to the hotel.

But this time, mom suggested we bring her to Genting Highland. AND the trip is entirely hers. (But of course, more pictures of me? *eh-hmm.

We went to the Outdoor Theme Park, mom did asked for our opinions but I prefer outdoors and since indoors are much more for kids or infants. (-_-)

IMG_5474

Oh yea. We stayed in the Club Elite Suite btw. It was free from mom’s friend who is a rich-regular-gambler in Genting. Cool kan? Pergi stay kat Genting pun ade ‘tour guide’.

IMG_5576

We stayed at the 18th floor. You can imagine how big a gambler he is.

IMG_5479

Masuk-masuk je dah get into comfortable gear and syok sendiri dah. *paiseh nohh*

IMG_5502

Toilet at the other room which has huge mirror and sink. (which this picture doesn’t do any justice.)

IMG_5496

Getting comfortably-lazy.

IMG_5495

to place your dirty clothes if you want them washed.

IMG_5493

not very likely ladylike to begin with. but a habit which i picked up from my dad – reading while doing your ‘business’ in the toilet. i must say, its kinda good when it does help a bit in forgetting how stinky where you’re sitting/squatting. (can’t help at all if it really extremely stinks) Ok. i shuddup about shitting. :x

IMG_5499

Our view is the cable cars from our room.

IMG_5501

/looking thru from the room to the other/

IMG_5500

The other side of the room has two single beds which can fit two of me.

IMG_5503

Complimentary fruits. Except the jambu i think we bought them from the tol. *hehe*

IMG_5504

Ze living room. Grandma likes the lazy chair. =)

IMG_5525

The most exciting part of the room – The Jacuzzi. Not forgetting to mention, a TV. (Well, not that cool since there isn’t much channels & the remote ran out of battery that i had to ask reception to get me batteries as i think the lousy-cheap-China-made batteries were soacked in the jacuzzi before.)

IMG_5537

Filled in water and getting ready to fit on the bathrobe!

IMG_5534

except it doesn’t quite fit me well. which i despise it why wouldn’t they make a mini -sized bathrobes for every hotels?)

*pffft.*

IMG_5527

Loved the sunshines. Mr.Sun plays hide & seek in the clouds. =))

IMG_5557

While waiting for the others to get ready, I play with my scarf. Tak cover aurat macam Yuna, tapi macam Yono. *OkIMerepekBai!*

 IMG_5546

/there/

IMG_5571

Ended going out like this instead of Miss Yono.

IMG_8699

Like I said before, dear sis doesn’t really fond of taking picture sometimes. Sis saw these three clowns and excited dragging and said ” Wen wen wo yao pai zhao! ” (Sis sis I want take picture with them!)

Me: ” Hi! Can we take a picture with you please?

One of the clown *hulur tangan*: ” 10 ringgit.

His tone of voice wasn’t joking. My face straightaway turned black, told sister they can’t take picture because they are too ugly. Memang sah forever act as clown lah! Stupid young twenties clowns who’s stuck in Genting Highland who can’t seem to get a whole of their lives except being clowns in the bukit forever hitching with Genting Highland ‘chickens’!  Ok ok chill woman!!

*OkayFineIStopMencaci*

IMG_8695

So the bulat sis & me. But this was before we lost weight coupler months ago. Now sis lost one ‘spare tyre’ instead of two and I lost 3kgs. Thanks to our home Reebok treadmill.

IMG_8708

Sings: beauty queen of only sixteen i…wanna feel beautiful~~~ – Maroon 5.

Ok except we are, seventeen twenty-four twenty-eight fourty-five seventy. ;-p

IMG_8712

It might be boring for us these slow rides, it’s as same as how simple their needs of happiness. :)

 IMG_8705

*cousin took this pic from behind*

Then we ride the old “lao beh chia” (Hokkien old vintage car). Sis insist to drive this time. :P She was enjoying her first drive to the max. But kena mom sound when she constantly bang our ass in front.

IMG_8716

After themepark whole day, we went to for dinner then have an outside walk at the pathetic Taman Bunga which has a few couple kissing-missing outside. *killed the view*

IMG_8718

Took out the camera and she just decided to have a pose towards me. hehehehehehehe.

IMG_8726

/roller-coaster miniature #1/

IMG_8727

/Genting miniature #2/

IMG_8730

/Chin Swee Temple miniature #3/ which i like most.

IMG_8719

Nah! Her most hipity-hop picture of the day. Haha! First time i see my sis in her hood up and acting like a hip-hoppy. *ngeee.*

IMG_5579

Then it was time to hit up north. Sis is like sunshine. When she doesn’t like something, it will be written all over her face, telling you she doesn’t like it. Even nowadays, when she doesn’t like eating something, she would say: ” My teeth hurts. Doctor say i kenot eat hard hard things. ” You would be hanging thinking, “yea right. its a prawn.”

Another thing about her which we didn’t notice but others realized and said this to us: ” She really know her manners well la your sister. ” Because my friend has a brother who is also a slow learner, but unfortunately, her dad refused to admit and accept that his son is a speacial kid & even introduced him girls. What a pity.

But knowing that fact we live up to everyday, not realizing it, we are very fortunte to have her taught well & well mannered.

Love,

Ruby.
